Alexander Kiro Friedrich was born in Hamburg. After graduating from high school, he decided to train as a media designer for image and sound. Fascinated by camera work, which he got to know and love during his training, a nine-month internship at a camera rental company followed. During this time, he realized his own projects as a cameraman and gained his first experience on a film set. Jobs as a camera assistant and operator followed. With the intention of further developing himself as a cameraman, he decided to study at the Hamburg Media School. At the end of 2022, Kiro graduated with the film "On The Brink" and received his Master of Arts degree. Since then he’s working as a DoP for fictional shorts and commercials.
